Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Peel, core and quarter apples (halve apples for large dumplings). Seperate crescent rolls. Spread an even amount of apples over each crescent roll. Wrap crescent rolls to secure apples. In a medium sauce pan, melt sugar, orange juice and butter. Place wrapped apples in baking dish. Pour melted mixture over apples. Sprinkle with cinnamon. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 - 30 minutes, until golden brown.
